Dear colleagues,
Op vrijdag 1 februari wordt in Utrecht een 1-daagse workshop georganiseerd over Deep Learning in de Radiotherapie. Deze workshop is bedoeld om klinisch fysici in de radiotherapie (of geïnteresseerden uit andere subspecialismen) kennis te laten maken met verschillende toepassingen van deep learning in RT. De applicaties die aan bod zullen komen zijn gefocust op beeldverwerkingsapplicaties zoals synthetic CT generatie, auto-contouring, deep learning voor treatment planning en in een adaptieve (MR-guided) workflow. Er zal worden gestart met een grondige introductie voor een beter begrip van de methoden. Daarnaast komen praktische aspecten aan bod zoals software, hardware, data en training vereisten. Het programma zal worden beëindigd met een praktische demo. Tijdens de workshop zal de voertaal Engels zijn. Accreditatie bij de NVKF wordt aangevraagd.Wij hopen jullie op 1 februari in het UMC Utrecht (afdeling RT) te mogen begroeten!

On February 1st (2019), a 1-day workshop on Deep learning for Radiotherapy will be organized in Utrecht, at the department of Radiotherapy of the University Medical Center. This workshop is aimed at Medical Physicists in the field of Radiotherapy (but not restricted to those interested working in different fields). Various applications of Deep Learning in radiotherapy will be discussed with a focus on applications for image manipulations such as Synthetic CT generation, auto-contouring, treatment planning and adaptive workflow, also in MR-guided setting. We will give a solid background in Deep learning itself and provide practical knowledge in terms of software, hardware, data and training requirements etc. All presentations will be in English. Accreditation at NVKF will be arranged.
